YOUR DONATIONS REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE! In 2012 we have been averaging 500-580 drop-in visit each month. Many of those visits are from women and children living on low income who come to access our free women's clothes, our Poverty Relief Program, or to receive emotional support. We are continually in need of new personal care/hygiene products to or donations of money so that we can purchase these supplies. As a Registered Canadian Charity, monetary donations are tax deductable.
Do donations really make a difference? Examples of what a $10 donation to our organization provides:
$10 buys 3-4 bottles of shampoo to give to women and their children
$10 buys 8-10 small tubes of toothpaste or toothbrushes
$10 buys juice and fruit for a nutritious snack to women taking lifeskills courses through our centre
$10 buys about a third of the cost of school supplies needed to give to one child through our annual School Supply Drive
